I don't see how girls can simply just shop for 6 hours straight without being completely exhausted. I feel like I've been hit by a train or something. We must have walked about 15 miles and don't even get me started about the crowds. Anyway, I have to win my seat to tomorrows big game, so on to the poker.

These games are notorious for having loads and loads of bad players. This is probably the main way to get into the 1 million gauranteed tournament on PokerStars. I generally prefer the regular double shootout structure as opposed to the turbo double shootouts because it gives me more time to utilize my skill against the weaker players. My main strategy for these is to play fairly tight and simply exploit the key weaknesses of other players (like over playing dominated hands like K-J for example).

PokerStars Game #7477018504: Tournament #37700845, $10+$1 Hold'em No Limit - Match Round I, Level I (10/20) - 2006/12/17 - 00:12:20 (ET)
Table '37700845 8' 8-max Seat #3 is the button
Seat 1: wcespresso (2910 in chips)
Seat 2: vizortion (1490 in chips)
Seat 3: jazzyj32 (1450 in chips)
Seat 4: AKChan (1480 in chips)
Seat 5: reverse boat (1500 in chips)
Seat 6: G PA 13 (1460 in chips)
Seat 8: g4ads (1710 in chips)
AKChan: posts small blind 10
reverse boat: posts big blind 20
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to vizortion [Kh Kc]
G PA 13: folds
g4ads: raises 40 to 60
wcespresso: calls 60
vizortion: raises 190 to 250
I raise a little more than 4 times the original bet. I do this for two reasons. One is because the players in these tournaments are VERY bad and will likely call larger bets than average players would. Two is because I would like to go heads up with my kings. I do not want to get involved in a multi-way pot and see an ace flop. So I try to thin the field a little also.
jazzyj32: folds
AKChan: folds
reverse boat: folds
g4ads: calls 190
wcespresso: calls 190
*** FLOP *** [8d 4d 4c]
g4ads: bets 120
wcespresso: calls 120
vizortion: raises 580 to 700
That is a great flop for my kings. g4ads could have anything here. He could be betting a flush draw, a pocket pair that I beat, a slow played pair of aces, or two high cards. It's really hard to put bad players on hands, because they play in such a way that their moves make no sense. I raise a STRONG amount to let them know that I'm not folding here and if they want to play, they're going to have to play for all their chips.
g4ads: raises 760 to 1460 and is all-in
wcespresso: folds
vizortion: calls 540 and is all-in
*** TURN *** [8d 4d 4c] [3d]
*** RIVER *** [8d 4d 4c 3d] [Ah]
*** SHOW DOWN ***
g4ads: shows [Qc Qd] (two pair, Queens and Fours)
vizortion: shows [Kh Kc] (two pair, Kings and Fours)
A tough break for g4ads and I win a nice pot. It's too weak to play with so many active players behind me and I'm likely racing against g4ads. The only hand I'd be happy to see him flip over would be 2-2 which is unlikely.
